It's the first weekend in October, so some of my ERC buddies and I celebrated the start of the college cross country season at Springfield Country Club yesterday.  The 4th Annual Bill Dellinger Invitational brought in some great teams and tough competition.  On the guy's side, Alabama took home the crown while the defending NCAA back-to-back champs Oregon Ducks finished 3rd.  On the lady's side, Villanova looked strong winning both the individual and team titles.  The Lady Ducks were back aways in 2nd place led by Alex Kosinski's second place finish and Jordan Hasay's sixth place in her first race in the green and yellow.  Not exactly what the Oregon faithful were expecting, but when you lose some quality seniors, it can take a little while for others to step up.  Be sure to check out the full results.  My friend Phil took some photos of the race.
